NELLY PFORDTEN

As mentioned earlier that Nelly was married at the age of 70. Today I manage to find out who her husband was. Her husband was Robert Portelli O'Connor (circa 1870) son of Michele Portelli and Teresa O'Connor, grandson of Sir Agostino Portelli KCMG. Robert was earlier married to Carolina CAPOGROSSO from Trieste.

INTRODUCTION

My name is EDDEE PFORDTEN. I was born on November 28, 1964 in Johor Bahru, Johore, Malaysia. This article is being written to list my ancestor who was originated from Germany. I have been gathering information from the web-sites, friends, uncles and my father.

Our ancestors began from LUDWIG KARL HEINRICH FREIHERR von der PFORDTEN (1811-1880). It is assumed that Karl Ludwig has six siblings. The assumption is being made from the findings of students at the INSTITUTE GERMAN ARISTOCRACY RESEARCH. His siblings are:

1. Friedrich von der Pfordten
2. German von der Pfordten
3. Gottfried Frhr von der Pfordten
4. Gustav von der Pfordten
5. Louis Frhr von der Pfordten ( - 1856)
   
6. Max Frhr von der Pfordten

He married Matilda Dreossi, an Austrian woman. According to my late grand father, they were bestowed with five offspring, two boys, and three girls. However, according to Wikipedia (translated from German by Google), OTTO FREIHERR von der PFORDTEN was also their son. I found out from Maltageneology that Ludwig do have another daugther by the name of Helen von der Pfordten.

ARTHUR REGINALD PFORDTEN was my grandfather. He married Jamaliah bt Puteh, a Malay lady from Penang, Malaysia. They were bestowed with five children;

3. MOHAMED SALEH PFORDTEN
4. DATIN FATIMAH PFORDTEN
5. OTHMAN PFORDTEN

MOHAMED SALEH PFORDTEN is my father. He married Salbiah Aziz, also a Malay lady from Penang, Malaysia. They were bestowed with 4 children:

2. NUR ELEEZA PFORDTEN
3. NOR EFFUANDY PFORDTEN
4. NUR ESYIKEEN PFORDTEN

Finally, here comes EDDEE PFORDTEN. I am married to a Malay lady from Perak, Malaysia by the name of AZYAN SHAHARUDDIN. I have 5 beautiful and handsome kids:
